If you get the following message
"Either.exe is already running in the background or it terminated
incorrectly last time it was run, and was unable to clean up its temparay
file.
The oprating system is denying access to the files c:\Windows\temp\playing.tmp
Solution:
Then, just do as the message says. Go to C:\Windows\temp\ and delete the directory called playing.tmp. After that, just click on game.exe again. The game should be playable again.

What are the control keys?
The control key are the following
esc/alt -> make appear the menu/ make leave shops/
cancel decision
keep pressing esc in battle-> running for a battle (boss
excepted)
spacebar/ enter -> talk to poeple, open treasure chests,
confirm battle actions
Use the directional keys (up,down,etc) to move/choose options in battle
pause-> pause outside and inside battle
windows-> come back to windows as you are playing. Be
careful it may create a bug with the keyboard see question (6)

I can hear sound! What should I do?
The game is launched under Dos. (see also FAQs). So the computer may have
problems to emule it. It's particularly true with Windows Nt or 2000.

If that's the case you need to install Vdms. To do so go to the hamster
republic and go to download -> Miscellaneous files and Third-Party
Utils for the OHRRPGCE-> go down until you see OHR Optimized VDMSound
Shortcut (Fyrewulff). Copy and paste the url in a new windows. Then click
on the link VDM sound. On the website download the programm. On the windows
on which you can see hamster republic click on [ download] on
the botton left corner. That's will give you the shortcut made by Fyrewulf.
Install Vdms programm as an ordinary programm. Unzip Fyrewulf shorcut
on the directory on which you put the game. Click on the file called "Play
Game.exe with VDMS (FYREsetting).vlp" The game should launch with
sound. From now on you'll have to use Fyrewulf shortcut to launch the
game. DO NO ERASE GAME.EXE! You still need the file! It contains the infos
to launch the game! Feel free to got the hamster republic and report your
problems if you still have no sound !
4) Where can I find other games made in the same way?
You may have not like my game but you may feel like playing to a Rpg made

Can I have several rpg files in the same directory?
Well you can, but I don't recommand you this option because the game have
been made for different version of game.exe. So I strongly recommend you
to have a directory for each rpg you play with. If the rpg you have downloaded
doesn't have a game.exe file with it, go to the hamster republic and download
several game.exe (the lost recent and several old files, until you find
the good one) See aslo 1) for bugs relative to the version.
6) I've got problems with my keyboard! What should I do ?
Your keyboard has problem as you are typing some letters like "e", "r",
or ,"l" . Well that bugs is due to the game that have quit in the wrong
way using windows.To solve this problem just launch game.exe and then
press esc to go back to windows.
Here are the files you get by downloading my game . Feel free to delete them if you want too, but do not complain if the game does not work anylonger ! If the name of the file is in green that means it is undeletable file! (Files names are in alphabetical order)
game.ico ->basic icone for the game
ohrpgce.fnt -> Contains the font. Make the text be able to see
ohrpgce.mas-> Contain the color palettes. Was required in the first version but is now included in the rpg files.
Readme.txt -> Contains basic info about the game such as game controls
Sailor.exe-> Make launch and quit Msdos. (execute also .rpg file)
Sailor.pif-> shortcut for the game. Feel free to copy and past it on your hardrive. You may also want to change the icone
sailor.rpg-> contains the rpg datas such as characters grafics and maps tiles.
sailor.sav-> appear only once you have launch the game and saved it. Contains infos such as chartacters levels, map names and locations and time. You may not delete it only if you want to start from the beginning.
What's new.txt -> contains the last implements in the game
8) How do I load a saved game from a previous
version ?
You have download the lastest version of the game and you don't want to
start again from the beginning. Here is what you should do: as it is explained
above you save is obviously in the .sav file ; so if you want to keep
it , you just shall NOT overwrite it or delete it. When you downloaded
the new version of the game, unzip it in the same directory and check
that only the .rpg file is replaced. Check also that the name
is the same. I shall not change it but if it may happen the newname.rpg
will create a newname.sav file. You will know the problem is due to the
name because 1) the game starts from the beginning and 2) you have two
.sav files in your directory.
9) I've download the new version but the file got the same size. How so? (not yet useful)
It's due to the OhrRpgCe. When you create a new blank under the rpg maker
engine it takes a certain space in the rpg file whatever it is a blank
or used map. I've already created all the map I will need during the game
so the size of the game shall not have increased when the final version
of the game will be released.
